Notes: I don't even know, you guys. These two, they do crazy things to me, make my OTP pretty much bleed all over every schmoopy thing I write about them. And this is no different. (Though, I need to learn to come up with less saptastic summaries.) Beta'd by the uber-gorgeous

I loved this. Really. And you know me, so you know what it means when I say that. It was just so lovely to read... the pacing, the realism, everything. Nicely done, sweetie.

Corrupting you might be my new favorite hobby. It's these boys though, right? Because they are too pretty and such great friends, and they have all this chemistry, that it's impossible not to want to read about them, like, ANY WAY POSSIBLE.

Wow. I don't normally read rps - but this was fantastic! The slow build was perfect, and that deep affection and easy camaraderie that they rediscovered was so real. That it started out a little awkward was perfect, and there's such a great balance between romance and . . . I don't know... what's the word I'm looking for? Dudeness? heh.

This was fabulous! Thank you for sharing it...

*claps* Dudeness! Yay! I like these boys to be boys, and if I took that as far as I wanted, I'd probably have them farting on each other and still trying to beat one another up, as that's how many of my guy friends act, as if they're not all college grads with real jobs and wives and whatnot.

Absolutely gorgeous. Jared was so subdued and introspective, yet still entirely himself. I loved the build and pace of the story, the little flashbacks to give us information about the present. Awesome job, I totally enjoyed it.

Gorgeous. I love how quiet this is, melancholy, yes, but at the same time - just, real, y'know? I love your characterisation of Jared - yup, methinks too that he's more layered than he's often portrayed. You made it easy to connect with him. The pacing and the plot are great, and the structure - for all that figuring it out might have annoyed you - makes perfect sense in the context of the wider story arch.

Just a wonderful, well-balanced story all-around.

Oh sweetie. I am so in love with this. The timeline in the story, the juxtaposition of past and future! And you went all creative with this line and made me read it THREE times for the sheer JOY of its construction:

Jensen smiles. His hand is still on Jared's shoulder, burning into him. Jared takes a shallow sip of his beer, and it candies the hot little ache in his stomach.

You have such a way of constructing love between the boys without edging it over into porn, ya know that? -smiling- I think that's one of the things that I love so much about your work. It's hot because of how real and honest the writing is. Really sweetie, such a piece to be PROUD of!

OH GOD, I think this is my favorite thing ever, and I've seriously used it in everything. It's not even conscious anymore and I need to get some new lines. I swear, I was just reading over the 10,000 I have of an AU j2 I'm writing that might even be finished sometime this century, and I USE IT THERE TOO. *headdesk* I'm glad you like it, in any case.

Oh my lord! This was brilliant!! I LOVE how you slowly but surely built the tension up, by the time they actually kissed I was all jittery!

I love that Jared ran away from it all, that he didn't know how to act. I love even more that Jensen was hella worried about him, and that he was the one to reach out to Jared.
